Snow, Santa and a ton of Fun

November 21 ~ Holiday Kickoff Downtown Redlands ~ Join us in kicking off the holiday season with some old-fashioned hospitality in Ed Hales Park at the corner of State and Fifth streets. Complimentary carriage rides, free bounce house for kids, music and games by Sixth Street School of Music, food and merchandise booths, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus!

November 27-The Festival of Lights Switch on Ceremony at Mission Inn ~4:30pm - The Riverside Festival of Lights will kick-off with festive activities on Friday, November 27th, 2015 at noon followed by the 23rd Annual Festival of Lights Switch-On Ceremony presented by Duane and Kelly Roberts, owners of The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa at 4:30 p.m.
In one swift move Riverside’s downtown is instantly illuminated with more than three and a half million twinkling lights and spectacular fireworks! The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce and the Festival of Lights Committee, consisting of community volunteers and local businesses, put in many long hours to coordinate the Ceremony.
The McKintree Boys will be playing just after the Switch-On Ceremony next to the skating rink. Bring your chairs and settle in. We'll be playing three hours of Celtic, toe-tapping rock.

November 28 ~ Yucaipa Winterfest - 3-8 pm - Winter Fest will have plenty of activities for all with a snow play area, kid’s fun zone, roving carolers, holiday shopping and craft fair, food vendors, a holiday concert and a tree lighting ceremony. The event is free to the public with some fees for select event attractions.

December 5 Grand Opening of Mountain Grove at Citrus Plaza ~ 11am - Please join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of
Mountain Grove at Citrus Plaza Shopping Center.

 December 5 ~ Redlands Christmas Parade ~ 6pm - On Saturday, Dec. 5, the annual Redlands Christmas Parade, sponsored by City and the Kiwanis Club of Redlands will make its way through Historic Downtown Redlands streets beginning at 6 p.m. Well over 100 entries, including floats, bands, classic cars and others participate annually in the Redlands Christmas Parade.

December 5 ~ Winter Wonderland & Christmas Parade~ Perris Hill Water Park San Bernardino - Come join us at this yesars Winter Wonderland and YMCA event. The event will have snow hills, live entertainment, car show, toy give away, cookies with Santa, YMCA Jubilee, and much much more! Bring your family and your sweaters. This event is FREE!

December 5 Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade - The annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade held in downtown Palm Springs features lighted floats, equestrians, bands, autos, and celebrities. This event has consistently been rated as one of the best local events in the Coachella Valley, and one of the top 10 holiday parade events in the country.

Arrive early and grab a spot, the parade starts promptly at 5:45 p.m.

December 6 - Kimberly Crest Christmas Tree Lighting ~ program begins promptly at 6pm.  Local Choirs will perform Christmas Carols, cider (provided by Riley's at Los Rios Rancho) and ginger cookies (provided by SweetPEA & Me Caketique) will be served and photos with Santa.

 

December 12 MoVal Snow Day - 10-4pm - The City of Moreno Valley, Parks & Commuity Services Department, along with San Manuel Mission Band of Indians and Waste Management is hosting Snow Day in Moreno Valley! Purchase a wristband for only $5 for 45 minutes of snow play, along with games, jumpers, entertainment and yummy food. Pre-register as space is already filling up.

Yucaipa Christmas Houses on Manning St.-33375 Manning St, Yucaipa-  We have 16 houses with Christmas lights coordinated to music. Christmas songs will change and be added through the weeks. We are also playing the music throughout the neighborhood so people can walk or you can tune your car radio to 92.5. Show runs from dusk to 9pm sun-thur and til 10pm on fri & sat.

November 27 ~LA Zoo Lights ~ L.A.’s brightest holiday tradition shines more brilliantly than ever!

December 16 - 20th 107th Newport Boat Parade ~ The Christmas Boat Parade in Newport Beach begins Wednesday, December 16th and goes through the 20th. The parade starts at Bay Island at 6:30 pm and lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Come on down to Balboa Island/Newport Harbor and make a memory! This is a free, public event that does not require a ticket to view. There are numerous locations in the harbor where there is great public viewing. If you would like to be on the water during the event, there are several ticket options.
