Do you and your family like water parks?  If yes the place to be is Wisconsin Dells, “The Water Park Capital of the World”.   You won’t know where to start because the Dells have the largest concentration of water parks of any place in the world.  There are over 20 indoor water parks that stay open year round and just as many outdoor parks including the country’s largest outdoor water park, Noah’s Ark Waterpark.

While in the Dells we stayed at Wilderness Territory which includes the nation’s largest indoor/outdoor water park combination.  The resort has 52 slides, 4 lazy rivers, 2 lazy lakes, a wave pool, 5 kiddy pools with play structures, 5 toddler pools, 9 hot tubs and 8 activity pools within their 4 indoor and 4 outdoor water parks totaling more than 500,000 square feet.  One of the nice things about Wilderness Resort Water Park is that it is only open to guest of the hotel so you won’t find as big of crowds as you will at other water parks in the area.  The Resort also offers additional activities for the family like arcades, bumper boats, miniature golf (indoor and outdoor), high ropes course, go karts, zip lines, lazer tag, and a haunted hotel and mirror maze, all at additional costs.

If you wish to take a break from the water parks you won’t need to travel very far because Wisconsin Dells has it all.  You can find indoor amusement parks, theme parks and fun centers for all ages. If you are looking to hang with animals the Dells offers Circus World, Deer Park, Stables, and Wildlife Park.  Ready for a show, you’ll find the circus, ski stunts, magic tricks, a drive in theater, Dinner show or flying acrobats.   Looking for adult time, you can enjoy beautiful golf courses or the local casino.
