Today, I had an amazing opportunity to try out Dream Dinners in Redlands. CA. Like many other Meal Prep services, you get the ease of of ordering what you want online, having someone else shop, do all the prep and clean up, while you and your family reap the rewards of delicious food. But, what sets Dream Dinners apart, is that you still get to be a part of assembling the meals, so that you can see what exactly is going into each recipe. You can gather some girlfriends to meet you there and have a meal prep party together, or come alone and make new friends. But most important, is that Dream Dinners caters to the Busy Family. They take the "planning" in meal planning, to a whole new level. All of their meals are easy to assemble. Recipes are easy to read and follow along, with color coding and all measurements listed. Ingredients are accessible and within reach. Each recipe is set up at its own station. Bags, trays and foil are provided for you. Dream Dinners makes the whole process from assembly, to home, to cooking, to table, completely seamless. Each recipe comes with a recipe card for directions so that when you get home, you know exactly step by step how to cook each of your meals. These cards also have side suggestions that you can either purchase extra or make at home from your own pantry. And they also have a date on them, along with a suggested "eat within this time frame" guideline.
Before today, I had no idea just how beneficial a meal prep service could be. After today, I don't know how I can possible live without it. I already have my next meal prep day on the calendar and my menu all planned out. The meals I made today are in my freezer, all ready for me to pull out when I need them. With the holidays, this alleviates some of the stress of what to eat, so that i can put my energy into other areas.
