Growing Kids means growing out of clothes. Our big family saves money by shopping at consignment sales twice a year. The clothing is used, but good quality. I help a fellow mama out when I buy her gently used items, and I am helping our planet by cutting down waste and landfill. Like any other mom, getting the most bang for my buck is my priority. To help us out, I went to the experts, Amy and Carrie of Moo La La, to give us some tips on how to save the most money.
Here you go:
1. Bring a List! Our events can be overwhelming, so sticking to your list and checking off your boxes first is a great way to stay on budget and task! Of course, if you come across a good deal on something you didn't know you needed, grab it because it might not be there tomorrow!
2. Wear comfy shoes, some water and perhaps a snack to keep you fueled up! Our events are only twice a year and thousands of families come from all over Southern California to attend, so anticipate lines BUT rest assured Moo La La Boutique keeps those lines moving!
3. If you are shopping without kids, trace your child's current shoe size onto paper, so you can reference it when shopping for shoes for the upcoming OR following seasons.
4. Our seasonal events are great for picking up those always expensive items needed for seasonal sports! For instance, look for baseball pants, gloves & bats for your son's upcoming season of baseball. Or, soccer cleats and shin guards for your daughter's soccer practices.
5. SHOP DISCOUNT DAY!! Our last day, Saturday, March 14th is a great day to COME BACK and save some more Moolah one last time before our event ends. Items marked, 'Discount: Yes' will be an additional 50% off! A great time to stock up on Books, pajamas & so much more! We are open 10am-4pm.
